If you choose to use your own curriculum (not offered by Bridgeway Academy), you can add the course directly from your Parent Bridgeway Learning Center (BLC) login and request approval from your advisor.

To add a course, login to your parent BLC account and select the student who will be taking the external course. Under the Parent Management dropdown, select Request External Course Approval.

When the form is complete, click Submit. Your advisor will be notified and will approve the course or request additional information.  The external course will automatically display on the student's dashboard as a course card.

If your advisor requests additional information, you will see an alert on the external course card on the student dashboard. Clicking the alert icon will display the screen below which displays the comments from the advisor and allows you to add additional comments or upload files.

Once your advisor approves the course, the status on the course card will change to Approved.

If your advisor is unable to approve a course, the course card status is shown as Rejected.

Upon completion of each semester of the course, you will need to submit grades, along with all graded work (e.g., tests, essays, projects) to document completion as well as the grade earned. Adding grades or uploading files for the course is done from the course card by selecting the appropriate option.
