What the Imagine+ Assessment Is

The Imagine+ Assessment (Diagnostic) is an online test used to measure a student’s current skill level in Math and English Language Arts (ELA). It helps teachers understand what a student already knows and what they need to learn next.

What this assessment does

  • Determines grade-level placement so students begin at the right level
  • Measures strengths and areas for growth in Math and Reading
  • Tracks student progress over time
  • Helps teachers personalize instruction based on results

What students should expect

  • About 30–45 questions per subject
  • Usually takes 45–60 minutes per subject (Math and/or ELA)
  • Questions may include:
    • Multiple choice
    • Drag-and-drop
    • Fill-in-the-blank
  • The test adapts to the student — questions get easier or harder based on answers.
