Family Responsibilities: Complete all Pre-Enrollment Steps: If new to Bridgeway, complete the Curriculum Survey and Learning Style Assessment. Ensure your high school student’s official transcripts from all prior schools have been submitted. International students require outside TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION. Schedule and attend a Meeting with NCAA Coordinator Review and approve Individualized Graduation Plan (IGP) and Personalized Learning Path (PLP) Know and complete all your State Law Requirements. This includes filing any necessary letter of intent, documentation, or affidavit where applicable. i.e. New York residents are required to submit their own IHIP. Review the Parent Handbook and contact your advisor with any questions If using textbook courses: Parents score all assessments Complete additional NCAA Addendum assignments per core course Complete NCAA Core Course Evaluation Form, recording assignment name, type of assignment, and grades for all Addendum work done for each course Upload and record all graded assessments, including Addendum work on the Evaluation form Fill out an Application for Course Approval for every course when using non-Bridgeway curriculum Upload all quarterly or semester materials to the Bridgeway Learning Center (BLC) in a timely manner, according to the date deadlines for your enrollment. Create Individualized Graduation Plan (IGP) utilizing information from submitted official transcripts and projected NCAA approved core courses. Create Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) for parents to review and approve For Returning Families: Meet with family to discuss NCAA updates and necessary tasks Review and update the IGP (if necessary) and send to parent for approval. Ongoing monitoring: GPA (2.3 minimum must be maintained) Core Course progress to 100% completion NCAA Portal for official transcript and other requests Collection of necessary NCAA course reports from various course platforms Maintain student records which include yearly course reports in student-specific folders for possible future NCAA requests Family completion and submission of Addendum and Core Course Evaluation forms Guide families through Core Course Worksheet submission process Yearly progress towards completion of 16 core credits and 10/7 rule Course pacing in each platform to comply with NCAA standards Work in collaboration with advisors Bridgeway Academy Advisor responsibilities: Provide course objectives if requested and applicable Maintain your academic records, report cards, and transcripts For textbook assignments- review all parent-graded tests, assignments, and monitor progress For online assignments- grade tests and assignments, monitor progress Provide support and expertise to make your school year a successful one Forward necessary documents to colleges, other schools, outside entities when provided with a request (this does not include State Homeschool Law documentation, which is a parent responsibility) Advise family in course selection and curriculum support Provide Recommendation and Verification documents as needed
